No change in Council’s holiday recycling and refuse services

Denbighshire County Council is informing residents that all refuse and recycling collections over Easter and other public holidays will operate as normal.

All recycling and refuse collections will take place on the normal day, even if they fall on a public holiday.

All three recycling parks in Denbighshire will also be open every day and the Saturday recycling services at Corwen and Llangollen will also be going ahead according to the normal schedule.

Steve Parker, Denbighshire’s Head of Environmental Services said: “With a number of public holidays on the horizon, some people may be wondering which days they should put out their recycling and refuse for collection.

“Our collection teams pride themselves on providing the best service possible to the customer and to that end we have decided to run a normal service, so that residents are not affected in any way. I would also like to pay tribute to the collection teams for their dedication to work on a bank holiday for the benefit of Denbighshire residents.”
