Neath Port Talbot residents are being given the opportunity to have their say on a plan which sets out the vision for the future of the county borough.
The Authority and its partners have been reviewing the current Community Plan, which sets out the priorities for the next ten years, 2010 to 2020.
A consultation paper on the Community Plan for the period 2010 to 2020 has been published with a view to publishing the final plan in the spring.
The Community Plan (CP) is the statutory overarching partnership plan which influences all local authority and partner policies in Neath Port Talbot.
The plan details what partners aim to do to improve the quality of life, well being and health of everyone in Neath Port Talbot.
Councillor Ali Thomas, Leader of Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, said: “These plans will have an impact upon all of NPT’s citizens, so the Council and its partners are committed to providing citizens with opportunities to have their say throughout their development.
“We look forward to receiving comments on the paper, which sets out how we can work together to improve the County Borough and the lives of all citizens who live, work and volunteer within its communities. It is everyone’s Plan, we all need to help deliver it, so your comments will be welcomed.”
The consultation period ends on 31st March 2010
