Clwyd West AM Darren Millar took the Communities Minister to meet TAPE, a social enterprise based on Old Colwyn to discuss their hard hitting Legacy film project.
TAPE Community Music and Film is an exciting social enterprise that aims to improve the well-being of the local community through music, film and the arts.
Legacy is TAPE’s first feature film. It was made as an educational resource about substance abuse and many of those involved in the production were dealing with addiction themselves.
During the visit Darren said:
“Legacy is a hard hitting film about the dangers of drug and alcohol addiction and how easy it is to fall into the substance misuse trap.
“I’m delighted it received the endorsement of the Minister today and I hope that young people across Wales will be able to benefit from this important educational resource.”
During the visit the Minister also enjoyed a tour around the TAPE’s newly refurbished community arts centre.
