One Show’s Alex Jones to front BBC Children in Need in Wales

The One Show presenter Alex Jones will need all the warmth of her special Children in Need Wales beanie hat when she fronts the BBC Cymru Wales section of the annual charity spectacular live from a rugby match at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

Alex will be presenting from the pitch of the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff where Wales will be meeting Fiji as part of their autumn internationals matches on November 19. The live half-time entertainment will be beamed across the UK as part of the BBC’s Children in Need Appeal.

BBC Cymru Wales
celebrities and rugby players have also been sporting the hats as part of this year’s Appeal. Wales Today presenter Lucy Owen, X-Ray presenter Rhodri Owen, weather forecasters Derek Brockway and Behnaz Akhgar and Sport Wales presenter Jason Mohammad are all appearing in new television trails for the charity campaign, as are BBC Radio Wales presenters Jamie Owen and Louise Elliott and comedian Chris Corcoran.

And Wales rugby stars Jamie Roberts and Stephen Jones have also added their support to the campaign.

The BBC Cymru Wales beanie hats in support of Pudsey are priced £6 and available from bbc.co.uk/pudseywales, or by phone at 03700 101051. (Standard geographic charges apply and calls may be included in your telecom provider’s call package. Calls from mobiles may be higher.)
