  • Adil Shah, 19 years, Wolverhampton;
    Haroon Amir, 18 years, Wolverhampton.

Shah and Amir will appear before Aberystwyth Magistrates Court today where an application will be made for a remand in custody against the two individuals.

Operation Wolf is a proactive police operation being run by Dyfed-Powys Police and other agencies targetting the supply of Class A drugs namely Heroin and Crack Cocaine into the rural communities of Ceredigion and Powys from the Wolverhampton area of the West Midlands.

Detective Inspector Greg Williams of Aberystwyth Police Station said:

“Operation Wolf is an on-going operation targetting drugs into the north of the Dyfed-Powys Police area and especially the town of Aberystwyth. Class A drugs shatter communities and it is only with the assistance of the public that traffickers from outside the area can be stopped and caught. We along with the judicial system are sending a strong message to dealers; you will be caught and you will receive a custodial sentence.”

Any person with information is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
