Outrage as Wales is not represented at the G20 summit

Politicians from the four main political parties in Wales have reacted angrily after finding out that there was a G20 summit being held in the Republic of Korea this week and that none of them were invited.

Some only found out about the summit after trying to contact colleagues in Westminster, only to be told that they had already left the country for the junket.

The Group of Twenty (G-20) Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors was established in 1999 to bring together systemically important industrialised and developing economies to discuss key issues in the global economy.

First Minister Carwyn Jones was believed to have been attending but according to a well-placed source canceled at the last moment so he could watch the Rugby this weekend.

It is thought that Nick Bourne, the Conservative Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly only found out about the meeting when he phoned Prime Minister David Cameron, only to be told that he was out of the country.

Plaid’s Alun Helen Mary Ffred Jones was unavailable to comment while the Liberal Democrats told us that they had run out of Jennys at the moment but one would get back to us as soon as possible.
