Oxjam Brecon is taking its message to the top – literally. An estimated 50 volunteers and sponsored buskers will be broadcasting their support for Oxfam GB from the top of Pen Y Fan this Sunday 28th August. Pen Y Fan (2,907 ft) is the highest point in the Brecon Beacons.

“This is the highest gig possible in Southern Britain and a stunning location – we’re exepecting a good turnout ” said David Brockwell, Marketing Co-ordinator

Now known locally as the “Mountain Busk” this Oxjam Brecon “fundraiser with a difference” took place for the first time last August. The meeting point on Sunday 28th August is at Storey Arms Car Park, at 11 am where sponsorship forms will be available – or join the busk on the summit starting at around 1am.
