Police appeal following Buckley robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was robbed on her way to a bank in Buckley in Flintshire.

The woman was walking alone along the Padeswood Road at about 1.00pm today May 3, just outside Buckley when she was approached from behind by a male in dark clothing who managed to pull her handbag away from her.

The large black leather bag, with gold studs on the front, contained a substantial amount of cash.

The male is described as 5ft 10ins tall and of slim build. He was wearing dark clothes and a hood or cap on his head. He made off through a nearby alleyway towards Alyn Road.
