Gwent Police is appealing for information after an ATM machine outside the Asda store on Pencarn Way, Duffryn, Newport was attacked and a substantial amount of money stolen.
It happened sometime between 11.45pm and midnight on Sunday 27th June.
The cashpoint was totally destroyed and approximately £20,000 worth of damage was caused.
