Police appeal for witnesses following burglary at Llanelli town centre store

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward after burglars broke into clothing shop in Llanelli market precinct.

The burglary at Grade One happened at around 8pm on Friday 21st January 2011.

“The offenders have forced their way into the back of the shop using the service road that runs at the back of the Murray Street multi story car park,” said Detective Inspector Huw Davies. “They’ve then gone on to steal designer clothing worth about £1300.

“We do know a man was seen running away from the area carrying the stolen clothing, but it is possible that a ‘getaway’ vehicle was used.

“If anyone in the area at the time saw anything suspicious or knows something which might help with our inquiry please come forward and contact Llanelli CID on 101.”
