Police to host May fun day

Community partners from across Rhondda have teamed up to provide the first Rhondda Community Family Day, in conjunction with PACT, Police and Communities Together.

The fun filled family event will take place on Sunday 9th May 2010 at Greenwood Park, Taff Street, Ferndale from 12:00 – 17:00pm, and entry is free.

There will be something for all the family to enjoy, with a fun fair, bouncey castles, stalls, go-carts, and music entertainment. There will be a number of police related activities, with the horses and dogs in attendance, vintage police cars, and crime prevention displays by local officers. The police youth football team will also be running a tournament throughout the day.

So please make sure to come along for what is going to be a fantastic day! There will be shuttle buses running throughout the Rhondda area, so please check with your local officers for times and further deatils.
