South Wales Police officers continuing to investigate allegations of wilful neglect involving falsification of entries in patients’ notes at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend have confirmed that two further nurses have been arrested and released on bail to return to the police station at a later date.
They are both female, aged 29 and 40 and come from the Bridgend area. They were both previously suspended by Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board as part of their continuing internal investigation.
The police have continued to keep the families concerned informed of the progress of their investigations.
