Ready, steady cook for the RNLI

Do you consider yourself as the next master chef, or could you do with a little help in the kitchen? Why not treat yourself or a loved one to a special ‘SOS Catering Experience’ this Christmas and help support the charity that saves lives at sea.

On January 28th the professional chefs at Deeside College will be holding cooking classes to support the charity’s official fundraising day, the RNLI SOS Day.

Budding master chefs will spend the morning attending a hands-on ‘master class’ with Chefs and students in the training kitchen, preparing a range of starters, meat or vegetarian dishes and deserts. At the end of the session they will able to relax in the restaurant and enjoy the fruits of their labour, served by Deeside College’s hospitality students. At only £25 per person, including all food and materials, what more could you need?

All funds raised from this special SOS event will be donated to the RNLI, Deeside College’s charity of the year. The RNLI receives no government funding and is reliant on voluntary donations to continue to save lives at sea.

Deborah Ferns, RNLI Community Fundraising Manager said:

‘The SOS Catering Experience is open to all levels of ability.
