Just finished a good book? Why not share it with someone else as part of Blaenau Gwent’s Big Book Swap?
The Big Book Swap will coincide with World Book Day on Thursday, 3 March at Ebbw Vale Learning Action Centre, James Street, between 1pm and 5pm. It’s simple – bring along the books you have read and swap them for new ones.
Blaenau Gwent’s Adult Education Service is embracing the ‘Reduce, Reuse and Recycle’ ethos and is working to reduce waste. The service has introduced both paper and ink-cartridge recycling points in all Learning Action Centres and is encouraging learners to reduce the amount of paper-based resources they use and several classes are using recycled materials to make items such as patchwork quilts and jewellery.
