Following the success of last year’s event, Flintshire hosts its second Regeneration Conference at Clwyd Theatr Cymru, Mold on Friday 24 February 2012, proving that we are very much ‘Open for Business’.
The Flintshire Regeneration Strategy was launched in 2009 and sets out ambitious plans to make Flintshire a better place to do business, to improve the quality of life for all residents and to make the county’s towns and rural areas more attractive and vibrant places.
The Conference will bring together key players from the public sector, business community and voluntary sectors to review the progress made in delivering the Flintshire Regeneration Strategy since the 2011 event and to discuss future priorities.
Councillor Matt Wright, Executive Member for Regeneration and Tourism said:
“2011 has been an exciting year for regeneration in Flintshire with great successes coming from the commitment and energy of the different partners involved. The economic climate remains challenging and this Conference will again bring the partners together to maintain the momentum and make 2012 every bit as successful.”
