Rhos-on-Sea burglary

Police are urging people to ensure windows and doors are locked after an opportunist thief stole a substantial amount of cash from a house in Rhos-on- Sea.

Two handbags, a purse and a wallet were stolen from the house on the Broadway, when an offender entered via an insecure front door.

The elderly residents of the property were at the back of the house and were unaware of the intruder.

At approximately 9.40am on Tuesday 2 February a resident was walking back to her home when she saw a man acting suspiciously.

The man is described as being white, in his late 20s to early 30s. He was between 5’6″ to 5’8″tall and had a pale complexion. His hair is described as short and strawberry blond / red in colour. He was wearing a dark coloured zipped waist length bomber jacket and had no distinguishing features.
