Rhyl assault

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following the report of an assault at an address in the South Drive area of Rhyl yesterday morning.

Police were called at just after 5am on Sunday 13th June, after a woman reported that she had been assaulted at home by an unknown man.

As a result of this incident she sustained minor injuries.

Supt Andy Jenks-Gilbert commented: “Although incidents of this nature are extremely unusual in North Wales, North Wales Police are eager to reassure the public that this matter is being investigated fully. I would urge anyone who has any information about this incident to contact us.”
