The planning application for the Rhyl New School has been submitted and it is hoped that an approval will be granted in April, which will, subject to the approval of the Business Case, allow the works to commence on site during the summer.
Plans will be displayed in Rhyl Leisure Centre from Tuesday 25th March 2014 – Tuesday 1st April 2014 to ensure that local residents and members of the community are aware of the plans and changes that will be happening on the school site to bring this exciting project to reality.
The project which is proposed to be funded in partnership by the Welsh Government and Denbighshire County Council, will provide a new building for Rhyl High School pupils and will also provide facilities for a cohort of Ysgol Tir Morfa pupils.
The ‘drop in’ events will provide an opportunity to view the up to date plans and ask members of the project team questions about the new development. A leaflet drop the week before the events will ensure all residents in the immediate vicinity are aware of them.
