South Wales Police is appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision which occurred at Union Street in Swansea 11.30am on Tuesday 12th August 2014.
The collision was between a white Skoda taxi and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, who is a 59 year old local man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
Police are requesting that anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who can provide any information to contact the Western Roads Policing Unit on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting occurrence number 1400295752.
The road was closed to traffic while police conducted initial examinations at the scene. Police would like to thank anyone affected by the closure for their patience and understanding.
