Robbery in Wrexham

An appeal for witnesses and information is being made following a robbery in Wrexham last night (Sunday, 4th April).

Shortly before 10pm North Wales Police received a report that a robbery had occurred at the ‘Subway’ food store in Eagles Meadow, whereby a man entered the store with a knife and demanded money from the till.

He then left with a small amount of cash.

Nobody was injured during the incident.

The man was wearing a cream coloured hooded top and his face was covered.

Police attended and a search was carried out in the area.

Enquiries are ongoing and police are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the incident, or anybody who may have seen a man with the same description nearby prior to the incident, to contact officers at Wrexham CID on 101, if you are calling from Wales, 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line), 0845 607 1002 (English line) or Crimestoppers Wales anonymously on 0800 555 111.
