Roll up for the Pembrokeshire Learnning Festival

Do you fancy trying your hand at something new?

To launch Adult Learners’ Week, the Pembrokeshire Learning Market returns to the Riverside, Haverfordwest on Saturday 15th May (10am-3pm). Visitors to the market will have the chance to shop for new learning opportunities and sample what’s on offer at the Pembrokeshire Learning Festival.

A range of stalls will be present offering a variety of activities, plus information about the wide range of events, open days and free taster sessions taking place across the county during Adult Learners’ Week (May 15th to 21st) The market will be officially opened by County Councillor Huw George, Cabinet Member for Children, Young People, Learning and the Welsh Language.

Visit Charles Street in Milford Haven on Wednesday 19th May and find out what learning can do for you.

Try your hand at something new – such as a new craft, using a computer or understanding your carbon footprint, or just pick up some information about what is available in the area.

There is also free admission for Pembrokeshire residents to the Bishop’s Palace Learning Festival on Thursday 20th May – just bring along evidence of residency to sample arts, crafts, drop spindling and much more.

There are many more events happening throughout the week. For a What’s On Guide or for more information contact Tina Jones, Pembrokeshire Learning Festival Coordinator, on 01437 764869 or email [email protected]
