Round Table Relay brings giant RNLI SOS bottle to RNLI Port Talbot

Members of the Round Table have delivered an ‘SOS’ message in a giant bottle to the RNLI’s Port Talbot lifeboat station as part of an epic relay challenge that aims to cover all 235 RNLI stations across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The giant bottle started its journey on the 14 January from the Round Table headquarters in Birmingham and will end on 6 May in Blackpool.

The RNLI is the Round Table’s Presidential Charity of the year and the fundraising target for the year is £150,000 with all funds raised going towards RNLI volunteer crew training at stations across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The Round Table has had a long association with the RNLI dating back to 1977 with thousands of members supporting the charity over the years.
