Roy Noble Toasts The Business Club

Businesses of all shapes and sizes enjoyed a festive lunch and an audience with popular presenter Roy Noble at the latest Rhondda Cynon Taf Business Club event.

Nearly 50 businesses from across the county attended the event at the beautiful Llechwen Hall, where they enjoyed lunch with all the trimmings and then an entertaining, informing and inspiring speech from Roy Noble.

Mr Noble spoke to the guests about the importance of networking and success in business, with a festive-themed speech.

Rhondda Cynon Taf Business Club was launched to provide an informal, positive environment in which local firms can meet, network, build contact and secure the information, support and tools they need to flourish and succeed.

One of the key elements of the Business Club is its popular programme of events, which are organised based on the needs of the member businesses, offering them the speeches, sessions and opportunities they have asked for.

The latest event was a special, festive celebration in which businesses could network, share best practice and celebrate their successes of the year.

Previous events have included specialist sessions on networking and marketing and speeches from high-profile members of the business community.

Cllr Paul Cannon, Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Housing, said: “The wide range of useful and informative events is one of the key successes of the Business Club.

“Since its launch by Lord Richard Attenborough, the Business Club has gone from strength to strength, offering the environment, support and tools our local firms need to be the best they can be.

“We are pleased so many attended this week’s event and look forward to putting on an equally successful events programme for 2010.

“However, events are just one of the features of the Business Club and I urge those interested to make contact to see how they can benefit from becoming a member.”
