Rubbish news from Denbighshire

Denbighshire County Council is reminding residents of some changes to the waste and recycling collections over the holiday period.  Collections are as follows:

Recycling collections: blue bins, blue and clear smart sacks and orange food waste bins.  Collections will be made as normal on all days up to and INCLUDING this Thursday, 24 December. Recycling collections will be made over the holiday period, so if you expect a collection please CHECK your collection day below: –
Collection days:
Thursday 24 December as normal
Friday 25 December changes to Saturday 26 December
Monday 28 December – Thursday 31 December as normal
Friday 1 January changes to Saturday 2 January

Services resume according to the usual schedule from Monday, 4 January 2010.

Domestic refuse collections: x2 grey wheely-bins or pink sack collections:
Collections will be made as normal on all days up to and INCLUDING Thursday, 24 December (Christmas Eve).
There will be NO COLLECTIONS of domestic refuse in the week starting Monday, 28 December. The next collection of refuse will be in week commencing Monday, 4 January 2010.   Please note the following:

Friday 25 December changes to Saturday 26 December
Monday 28 December – Friday 1 January NO COLLECTION

Green wheely-bin collections:  There will be no collections of green wheely-bins in the week starting Monday, 28 December.  The next collection of green wheely-bins will be in the week starting Monday 11 January on your usual collection day.
