Commenting on this Sundays 5km Santa Run organized by Newtown and District Dial a Ride Newtown County Councillor Russell George who took part himself said:
“It was very cold, but nice to run with snow on the ground. There were not as many Santa’s as in the past but the Santa Run happened here first. Well done to Newtown and District Dial a Ride who have raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes over the years”
