Santa will, once again, be setting up his Grotto in Neath this Christmas, courtesy of the management and staff at the Castle Hotel who have kindly agreed to allow one of their conference rooms to be decorated with all things festive.
This Saturday (28th Nov) from 12noon until 4pm, Santa will be eagerly awaiting his young visitors to find out how they’ve been behaving this year and what exactly they’d like for Christmas.
His Grotto will be open on the first floor of the Castle Hotel, admission is £4 and this includes a photo with Santa.
Parents of children with access issues please ring in advance so that suitable arrangements can be made. Special Santa breakfasts are also available as well as group bookings. Letters to Santa can be posted in the Grotto until Saturday 12 December and all letters will be responded to as long as name, address and age are clearly marked.
This year, St. Modwen, who are transforming Coed Darcy, the region’s new £1.2 billion sustainable community with 4,000 homes, 3,000 jobs, four schools and other community facilities, is delighted to be able to assist Santa with his presents for the children of Neath.

Father Christmas, aka Mike Dodds from Cimla whose day job is working as a mental health support worker for Tracscare the care and rehabilitation specialists based in Swansea, will be kindly donating the money earned from his festive part-time position to the Junior Sports Disability Team – ‘The Welsh Wonders’ from Neath Port Talbot.
