Police in Crymych are warning people about bogus scrap metal dealers.
The dealers claim they are from Jay Metals and promise to return to the address to pay, but no-one turns up the next day. Jay Metals have reported that they have had people asking for money for scrap that has not been collected by them.
Jay Metals wishes to stress that all of their lorries have the company name on them, and that their drivers have a carriers licence with Jay Metals on it. If they are not in possession of this they are not employed by Jay Metals and are not collecting on their behalf.
