The following statement is on behalf of the family of Aamir Siddiqi:
“The family of Aamir have expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude for all those that have been to visit them, sent sympathy cards and placed flowers at their home address. They have been overwhelmed by the support shown to them.
“The family is asking if the show of support could be continued through donations to WaterAid (www.wateraid.org). This is a charity that was dear to Aamir who wanted everyone to be cared for.
“This charity provides water, sanitation, hygiene and education to some of the world’s poorest people.”
