Silverware stolen from an Anglesey Church

An appeal for witnesses and information is being made following a burglary at a Church in Llannerchymedd.

Some time between Sunday, 14th March and yesterday morning (Wednesday 17th of March) an offender(s) have broken into St Mary’s Church in Llanerchymedd.

Several items of silverware have been stolen which include historic objects. Amongst the items stolen are silver Anglo Saxon cups, a 16th century silver Communion cup, four solid brass vases, a silver bread box and cash.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour in the area, or anyone with information regarding the burglary is asked to contact PC 1817 Neil Jones at Amlwch Police Station on 101, or Crimestoppers Wales anonymously on 0800 555 111.
