Join thousands of people, young and old alike, across the length and breadth of the country by running the Sport Relief Mile at Caerphilly Castle on Sunday, March 21.
You decide how far you want to go but whether you run one, three or six miles you’ll make the difference to people living unimaginably tough lives.
One mile – a full-on-challenge suitable for anyone who wants to raise cash and have a laugh… Whether you do it with your kids, your friends or with a good old-fashioned egg and spoon, you’re guaranteed to have a great time from start to finish.
Three miles – perfect for those who want to step it up a notch. Try beating the clock, racing your friends or running as part of a team to get the sponsorship cash rolling in.
Six miles – is for those who really want to go the distance. Whether it’s your first big run, or you’re aiming to beat a personal best, you’ll feel elated when you cross the finish line and raise tons of cash too.
Everyone can participate from teeny-tots with their mums and dads, to super sprinters, there’s a race for everyone on the day. Most importantly, all the money you raise by getting sponsored will help to transform lives forever.
Visit the Sport Relief website to sign up for the race and tell us how you plan to complete your challenge. If you want to enter a team or need advice, contact Caerphilly Sport, Coach Development Officer, Jared Lougher on 01443 863470.
