On Saturday 23 April at 10.50am, St Davids RNLI inshore lifeboat, with a crew of three, launched on service to the aid of a 18ft pleasure vessel, Black Magic, which had suffered engine failure.
The vessel, which had two people onboard, was in a position approximately two miles off Porthclais Harbour. Once the lifeboat was on scene, it took the casualty vessel under tow back to its moorings at Porthclais.
When the vessel was securely attached to its moorings, the lifeboat returned to its station rehousing at 11.50am.
