“In addition we are seeking to identify the owners of a wrist watch and a lady’s pocket watch, a set of keys with a Homer Simpson key fob, a black shoulder bag bearing the words ‘Bad Attitude’, a motor cycle helmet and a tool kit.”

Vale Neighbourhood Inspector Mark Taylor said: “The close working relationship between the Neighbourhood Support Team and the CID in the Vale of Glamorgan resulted in this successful warrant and the arrest of five suspects believed to be involved in a recent flurry of house burglaries.

“Such crimes are very unusual in this area and these significant arrests should serve as a warning to anyone contemplating criminal activity in the Vale that such actions will not be tolerated and those responsible will be arrested and swiftly brought to justice.”
