Supporting women into business

Flintshire County Council’s Business Development team is committed to delivering, supporting and promoting an extensive programme of events throughout the year to assist businesses in Flintshire.

On Wednesday, 31 March, the Welsh Assembly Government’s Flexible Support for Business, in collaboration with Flintshire County Council, Network She and THE Group, is offering a free Business Start-Up Advisory Service aimed specifically at supporting women into business.

If you are female and have a business idea, but need advice as to how to make it a reality, this event, ‘First Steps to Success – Supporting Women into Business’ is one that cannot be missed.

Advisors from local business support agencies will be available to offer the best impartial advice, tailored to suit individual needs to help overcome any barriers. Also, ‘first hand experience’ from women who are already ‘living their dream’ of running their own business will be available.

There will be plenty of opportunity to have a chat, a glass of wine and canapés and enjoy girlie treats such as facials, manicures and chocolate making demonstrations on the night.

The First Steps to Success event is at Beaufort Park Hotel, Mold, CH7 6RQ, on Wednesday, 31March from 6.30pm till 9:00pm. For further information, please contact the Business Development Team at Flintshire County Council on 01352 703219 or e-mail [email protected]
