Members of a Barry-based reading group, ‘Simply Read,’ gather at the County Library next week to discuss a new edition of the novel, The Black Parade, by Welsh author Jack Jones.
Joining the group for their discussions at the Barry venue will be broadcaster, writer and journalist Mario Basini who has written the foreword to the new edition. Mario, who recently published the book, Real Merthyr, will be joined by Library of Wales publishing editor, and fiction editor for Seren Books, Penny Thomas.
Members of other reading and creative writing groups, as well as anyone interested in the classics, are also welcome to attend the event on Monday, December 7, at 7pm.

The Black Parade is one of a number of popular titles held by the County Library in multiple form and available for the use by reading groups across the Vale.
