He scored his first goal for the club in Saturday’s impressive win at Watford and Cardiff City defender Adam Matthews has waltzed into the Championship team of the week.
There could be good things ahead for Matthews if he’s as regulary in the top XI as colleagues Peter Whittingham, who is listed in midfield after scoring twice, and Michael Chopra who didn’t score but is recognised for his all round performance up front.
