Three country parks linked by FREE shuttle bus

If you are one of the thousands of people visiting Loggerheads, Coed Moel Famau and Moel Famau this summer try out our free shuttle bus service.

Huw Rees, Interim Head of Tourism, Culture and Countryside, said: “We hope that this service will encourage people to travel to the country parks by bus and easily move between the three stunning sites. Or if people are coming by car we hope they will avoid parking on the road outside Loggerheads when the car park is full. Instead, people can park at Moel Famau and use this free service to move between sites.”

The Shuttle Bus is running everyday over the summer holidays every half hour – and there is even an incentive! Award Winning Caffi Florence at Loggerheads Country Park is offering a ‘buy one drink, get one free’ offer to encourage this sustainable initiative.

There are a wealth of free events, guided walks and countryside experiences throughout Loggerheads and Moel Famau for our visitors to enjoy and we hope people will take advantage of this service to have a fabulous day out in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Shuttle Bus Service is provided by a partnership between Denbighshire, Flintshire, Wrexham County Councils in association with the Heather and Hillforts Project, Cadwyn Clwyd funded through the Rural Development Plan and Heritage Lottery Fund.

Copies of the Shuttle Bus timetable are available on the internet from www.clwydianrangeaonb.org.uk, www.denbighshire.gov.uk/countryside or from Denbighshire Countryside Service on 01352 810614 or from Loggerheads Countryside Centre and local TICs.
