Potentially Vulnerable People

If you felt vulnerable during last years heavy snow, Torfaen council wants to hear from you.

While some people are permanently vulnerable and receive services to support their daily lives, others become temporarily vulnerable and are at increased risk during bad weather, which can limit their ability to complete daily living tasks, such as shopping for food.

During harsh weather conditions, residents are being encouraged to keep a closer eye on the well-being of vulnerable friends, family and neighbours. If someone you know is poorly this winter, why not pop to the chemist or pick up the essentials at the supermarket for them?

If you wish to register as a potentially vulnerable people during periods of bad weather or any other local emergency situation, contact 01495 762200.
