Trearddur Bay RNLI Lifeboat volunteers help search for missing woman

Trearddur Bay RNLI Lifeboat crew were called out on Thursday 6th May at 5:43pm after a report of a missing woman in distress on the coast.

The RNLI Dorothy Selina lifeboat was launched at 5:53pm and was swiftly followed by the D class lifeboat at 5:56pm.The woman, aged 44, was seen near Porth Dafarch, Trearddur Bay.

The woman was found near the shore line. Working with Coastguard officials, the RNLI brought the woman to back to safety.

She was later taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor by helicopter.
