Reports are reaching us that Lisa the Gibbon, star of ITV Wales’ hit show ‘Anna’s Welsh Zoo’ and resident at Manor House Wildlife Park near Tenby in Pembrokeshire has been having an affair with Assembly Member for Aberavon, Dr Brian Gibbons.
Lisa, whose recent exploits have been watched by millions on the popular television show told us:
“Top da morning, I was fed up with my partner Steve the Gibbon. My mother always told me to settle down with a lawyer or a doctor or something, and me and Dr Brian are very happy.”
She added:
“To be sure, to be sure, Steve’s agoraphobia was really getting on my tits and I could not understand a word he said to me. I’m from Ireland begorrah and Brian and I speak the same languge.”
Dr Brian Gibbons was brought up in Keadue, County Roscommon in the West of Ireland. He was educated at Keadue National School, Summerhill College in Sligo before graduating in medicine from the National University of Ireland (Galway).
In 1980 he became a general practitioner in Blaengwynfi, Glyncorrwg and helped form the Upper Afan Practice. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 1995.
Dr Gibbons was unavailable to comment but a party worker told us:
“You will, you will, you will, you will” adding that “Dr Gibbons had no comment to make to Welsh Icons – Who do you think you are? Wales on Sinday?”
