Police can now confirm the names of the two people who died at an address on Deeside Lane in Sealand.
They have been named as Paul and Jean Laithwaite.
The following has been issued on behalf of the family:
“This is an extremely difficult time and we would like to extend our thanks to all for the sympathy and support we have received.”
The family ask that the press respect their privacy at this sad time. Police are still treating the deaths as unexplained and the investigation is continuing.
Forensic experts remain at the scene which remains under police cordon. It is anticipated the investigation will continue throughout the evening therefore no further updates are currently available.
