Update regarding the armed robbery at the Costcutters store in Bontnewydd on Thursday evening:
The 22-year-old man who was arrested has been released without charge. The 15-year-old has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
A further two men were arrested on Friday evening in connection with this incident – the 18 and 19-year-old men were both arrested on suspicion of robbery and both have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and are particularly keen on speaking to anyone who may have been in the store between 8 and 10pm on Thursday 14th January.
