Volunteers needed to get aboard the Night Rider

Can you drive? Do you want to be a buddy? Do you have spare time? Would you like to gain new skills and experience?

If you can answer yes to these questions, Denbighshire County Council’s Passenger Transport Team would like to hear from you.

The Council is looking for volunteer drivers and driver buddies to help run the  Denbighshire Night Rider service. This is a door to door, wheelchair accessible transport service for older people who are unable to use public transport, and have physical or sensory impairment of any kind.

The service runs every Thursday and Friday evening from 6pm until 10pm in the north of the county.

In return, volunteers will receive full training, insurance and Criminal Records Bureau checks, be part of a fantastic friendly team and make a valuable contribution to the local community.
