Welsh Conservative election candidate Chris O’Brien has signed the Royal British Legion’s ‘It’s Time To Do Your Bit’ pledge, promising to support improved services for the Armed Forces community, Veterans and their families.
He said: “I am absolutely delighted to sign this pledge.
“Our service personnel and their families make such significant sacrifices to society which too often goes without due praise.
“Veterans also deserve our constant recognition and respect for the sacrifices they have made in serving and protecting their country”.
Chris added: “I am delighted that the Welsh Conservatives have pledged to introduce an Armed Forces Card in Wales.
“This would offer free bus travel, confirm priority NHS care and offer free entry to local government leisure facilities for serving and former service personnel”.
