Welsh RNLI lifeboat station gives national fundraising day a Scottish flavour

RNLI volunteers at Aberystwyth have come up with a fun-filled way to celebrate the RNLI’s SOS Day, which falls on 29 January, 2010.

Due the day’s proximity to Burn’s Night, the station has opted for a Scottish theme. A ‘Sip On Scotch’ Ceilidh/Twmpath will be held in the RAFA Club, Bridge Street on Saturday 30th January at 7.30pm.

Music will be provided by the band Whisky Before Breakfast, and a caller will ensure that the traditional country dancing goes swingingly.

Tickets for the evening cost £5.00 and are available from the RAFA club.
