WLGA Spokesperson Councillor Aled Roberts welcomed the announcement. He said:
“WLGA is working with authorities on issues of climate change and adaptation. These projects, all of which include work with local communities to raise awareness and develop local resilience contribute to the effort. I welcome the partnership working between the Assembly, Environment Agency and others, such as the Institution of Civil Engineers, to identify priorities and direct available resources towards those areas”.
