Workshops on delivering support for vulnerable families in Denbighshire

The Denbighshire Local Service Board is holding two information and workshop events for any projects or organisations who currently deliver or could potentially deliver services to support vulnerable families in Denbighshire.

Funding will be available from April 2012 (for a two year period) to support vulnerable families, and Denbighshire is inviting any interested parties or organisations the opportunity to attend these workshops in order to discuss how services could be delivered, and maximise their chances when putting forward a tender for funding.

WORKSHOP 1
Thursday, 15 September   11.30am – 5.00pm (Denbigh Town Hall)

  • How projects/organisations can contribute
  • Discuss identified high level themes and develop models of service
  • Find out about tendering for funding – the process, and timescales

WORKSHOP 2
Thursday, 29 September 11.30am – 5.00pm (Denbigh Town Hall)

  • Discussion and training around how to operate as a “Consortia” ie looking at ways that several projects/organisations can come together to contribute to an outcome/end result for service users.
