A group of Pembrokeshire youngsters have been spending part of their summer holidays learning about the movie business.
The youngsters – aged between eight and 14 – have been attending special Animation Days at Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and Pembroke leisure centres.
Organised by Pembrokeshire County Council’s education department, the one day courses have been run by local animation company – Planet Sunday.
“We have run three Animation Days during August and they have been a huge success” said Helen Steel at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre.
“Each day the youngsters come up with a short film idea and turn it into reality – through modelling and using state of the art computers – over the course of the day.
“And at the end of the day they all go home with a finished DVD of their film.”
