During the past twelve months Read Construction Holdings Ltd have been successfully engaged in constructing significant extensions and carrying out almost total refurbishment of the existing School at Ysgol Bro Dyfrdwy in Cynwyd.
The goals and other sports equipment have been provided through Read Construction’s Community Benefit programme for use on the new Multi Use Games and Activities all weather surface court which has been provided as part of the project.
Eirian Owain said: “A new chapter begins at Ysgol Bro Dyfrdwy with the building of an extension and complete refurbishment of the present school by Read Construction which without doubt is an inspirational development. This exciting project has provided excellent, modern facilities at Cynwyd which will benefit pupils, staff and members of the wider community leading to the creation of a school fit for the 21st century. ”
Wil Jones added: ”The requirement to minimise adverse impact on the live school throughout this multi phased project brought about its unusual sequencing and programming challenges. To this end, both myself and our Site Manager would like to thank all the staff and pupils at Ysgol Bro Dyfrdwy for their patience and understanding during the works”.
Wynne Davies commented: “What we managed to achieve at Ysgol Bro Dyfrdwy, within the given timescales and in the live school environment, is quite amazing and couldn’t have been achieved without excellent collaborative planning between the client team and our site team along with an extremely tolerant Head Teacher and Senior staff members, who from start to finish demonstrated a particularly proactive and positive attitude which has led to an extremely positive outcome that we at Read Construction are proud to have contributed towards.”
