Parents facing the prospect of entertaining their children and children’s friends for a party now have an easier option.
The Wales National Pool Swansea is hosting pre-booked pool parties on Saturday afternoons which have proved a hit with youngsters so far.
Jeremy Cole is General Manager at the Pool. He said: “The parties have been running for about a month and have been working really well. A picture of the birthday girl or boy is put on the big screen in the pool area and, while we have toys and floats in the pool, we also have a teacher on hand who can engage the children in fun games which also help to improve their swimming.”
Food is supplied as an optional extra to the package so children come home tired, happy and well-fed.
