Commenting on the creation of up to 600 jobs at a new call centre in Cardiff, Shadow Minister for Business Andrew RT Davies AM, said:
“Serco’s decision to invest in South Wales is excellent news, both for the region and for Cardiff.
“The announcement reinforces the Welsh capital’s image as an attractive city for new investment.
“The Welsh Labour government must now make building on that attraction a priority – in Cardiff, across the region, and throughout Wales.
“Crucial to this is the introduction of enterprise zones.
“It’s time for Labour to stop the dithering – build on success stories like this – and make it clear that Wales is open for business.”
